Survival Notes from Canada – September 22, 2018:

Hi, folks. Clint Ekert here, your trusty reporter from Canada, reporting on the nations hot topics.

Hot Topics

First off on our hot topics list is Quebec CAQ is poised to win the Quebec election. One of the laws they plan on putting in place is that newly arrived immigrants must pass a test to pass basic knowledge within a period of three years or be deported to their home country.

Our prime minister, a former drama school teacher, has recently commissioned a “study” to ban handguns and assault weapons ahead of the election. As Clint sits here, I need to wake up. We all do. The world is going to change in a very big way, perhaps very soon enough.

I hope all you realize now that the main persecuted under attack in the world are Christians. Let’s side with people like us. Stop associating with people of other faith. It’s a waste of time.

I have a Christian friend who lives in South Africa. He is a real good man. You can trust your kids with him. Violence inhabits were he lives. All around him there is murder, rape, and beatings. It never lets up on the people that built the country. He says, “Every Christian should own a gun.”

If you don’t own one now, you need to have at least one in your house, for many reasons. If you are here now, then you believe in the tribulation. Tough times require tough, ready people– tough Christians.

Where to Start

To start, get an SKS Rifle. This is a former military rifle designed in Russia at a time where Russia was still “cool”, sometime in the late 1940’s. Millions were made. It was used in many wars and battles and is reliable and simple just like Ol’ Clint.

If you don’t have a PAL or Possession to Acquire a license to own a gun in Canada, get yourself a copy fill it out. Send it in and then wait the 3-4 months for a background check. In the mail you will get a card with your photo on it. Then, you will need to take a course lasting about two days. After you have done all that, go to a local gun store. If you do not know where the local gun store is, then let me know your area and I will let you know.

SKS Surplus Rifle

At the gun store, show the salesman your PAL card and let him or her know you want to see an SKS Surplus Rifle. This rifle retails currently in the low $200 range in Canada. Make sure there is no rust or damage to the rifle. Check all moving parts. Look down the barrel. Let the salesman know you will purchase the rifle and let them know you need to purchase at least 500 rounds of ammo in bulk. Get a combination lock and a gun cleaning solution in bulk, which is at least a liter. Get yourself a soft case to carry your new rifle, one that has shoulder straps.

Forget about a cleaning kit. Your SKS has one built into it. Also get a rifle with a bayonet on it. This turns your rifle into a spear, if you are out of ammo. Ask the salesman to perform a “field stripping” while you watch. That way you will see firsthand what it takes to clean the rifle after you use it.

Make your purchase, bring your gun home, practice with it, take it apart, and put it away with the lock on in your closet. You have met required gun laws for non-restricted firearms. Just remember that your purchase should be under $700 including Canada’s national Sales tax of 13 percent.

Food and Communications

I know there may be some of you who make more than 60000 Cdn and have a whole lot of guns. I hope that whatever you have in its current retail value you have the same value of food in your household. The same goes for communication equipment, like Ham radio. Otherwise, start over. You need to build yourself into self reliance, a Christian prepper that has enough tool for survival on all levels.

Shields Raised High

In the movie 300, the leader Leonidias describes the strength of the Spartan Army, “With shields raised high, your army is only as strong as the weakest link.” A survivalist is only as strong as your weakest link.

As a Christian prepper, I raise my shield high with the sign of the cross on it, declaring I am prepared to defend my people. I look forward to the other 299 who will take action to prepare themselves in a crisis.

God Bless, Clint

See you next week

Quote of the Week: Psalm 150

Praise the LORD!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;
Praise Him with the lute and harp!
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD!
